Do anti-bacterial products clean and kill germs as well as washing with soap and water?

anti-bacterial products are an effective tool to kill germs and bacteria on your skin, after touching contaminated items or surfaces. They are very effective, at a99% success rate.

However, they do not fully replace the traditional method of cleaning your hands with water and soap, as the dead bacteria and other substances will not be washed away. It is thus recommended to use both methods, to be absolutely sure that the hands are clean.
