By motivating the team, give the team enough space to think, giving them second chances when ever there is a mistake done and also checking up on the team if they having difficulties not only at the work place but also at home.

I agree with Juny. And aside from those these can also be done:1. Considerations: in my country, CSRs are still required to report for duty even in the middle of a typhoon. The company only cares about the revenue that will be lost on that day, not thinking some of the employees might get stranded, sick and worst, drown.1.1 As well as when one of the rep's family member died, he/she isn't allowed by the workforce to take a leave. How motivating can that be?1.2 Reps are already limping on their stations yet they can't go home until they have obtained clearance from the Company Doctor. And they wonder why some agents can't report on duty for3 days. If only they sent him/her home earlier, he/she could've gotten enough rest.2. Higher salary. We all know that BPO industry is a lucrative business. Yet, employees only get the end of the tail, when in fact they are the reason why the industry is booming.3. Benefits. Do I need to expand this?

Being a CSR myself and having an experience of handling a team even for a while, I'm confident that the following are effective ways to motivate:

- They must be heard  - do one one one coaching at least once a week and have a sincere talk with CSR.

- They must be acknowledged/rewarded - even simple certificates are gonna be appreciated (add gift vouchers if possible).

- They must be nurtured - the learning process must continue for the CSR to grow.

- If CSR made a mistake, s/he must have a fair trial or undergo a process.

- They must have a fair chance to get promoted for a higher post.

- Lastly but shouldn't be taken for granted, bond with CSRs, do a team-building or celebrate every birthdays.

As a Manager, first you must do is boost your CSRs by giving encouraging words to cheer them up and not to pressure them more. In that way, work will be more easy and pressure will be lessen. Because, if workplace is happy all is success!

As a manager my motivation for my team is really important. There are different methods i will chosse to motiva my team.

1. I  will give them extra bounes on achiving there target.

2. I will encourage them that they have all abilites they are given by God so they are part of this company. So i will morally encourage them that they are the best team so i am leading them and i have faith that they will do any thing they are assinged to do.

3. On each sale i will appicate them and give them treat on my own.

in order to motivate Customer serivce department, first of all dont allow employees to spend more than 80% of their time on the phones,so you can use the 20% of the day for follow up,research,emails etc.

also to take a day for team building, its an escape like having a dinner together

in addition for a training day it helps energize the employees.
