wired network : the term (wired) is used to differentiate between wireless connection and those that involve cables. A wired setup uses physical cables to transfer data between different device and computer system most wired networks use Ethernet cables to transfer data between connected pc.

wireless networks : wireless network refers to the use of infrared or radio frequency signals to share information and resources between devices.

reliability of wired networks high (Ethernet cables, switches reliable)

Wired Network 1)Wired networking requires cables to be connected to each and every computre in the network.2)Cost of a Wired network is less as compared to wireless network as Ethernet, cables, swiches are not expensive,3)Wired LAN offers better performance as compared to wireless networks.Wired network can offer 100Mpbs bandwidth using Fast Ethernet technology.3)Ethernet cables,Swiches are used in wired network are reliable.4)Security considerations for a wired network connected to the internet are firewalls. Firewall software can be installed on each computer.Wireless Network 1)Wireless network can be configured in two ways. I.e. Adhoc or infrasture mode.Wiresless devices require WLAN cards and access points for communication.2)Wireless networks requires equipments like Wireless Adapters and access points which ae quite expensive.Cost of wireless networks is high as compared to wired networks.3)Maximum bandwidth provided by wireless network is about 11Mpbs.4)The reliability of wireless network is less as compared to wired network.5)WLANS use wired equivalent privacy(WEP) encryption to protect the data. This makes wireless networks as secure as wired networks.6)Laptops and other computing devices can be moved around freely within the wireless network because mobility of wireless network is better as compared to wired networks.

the different is in medium, Wired such as optic, Wire, ETH. Wireless sure it is electromagnetic transfer used in Radio Teresterial Microwave, Satellite.

if you need reliable than choose wired, this medium guarante less data loss compare to Wireless,in wireless you may need to optimize/calculate radio environment due to RF Behaviours Absorption, Reflection, Refraction, Diffraction, Scattering

Wired refers to any physical medium comprising of cables i.e. fiber optic cable, copper wire, twisted pair while wireless refers to a medium which is made up of electromagnetic waves.

Wireless is most reliable because it supports mobility, fast communication.

which network used cable u can say it lan networking and its most relaiable and faster

where we did not used cable , its wan networking

The difference between wired and wireless is that wired is a device connected to a network physically via ethernet cable, wireless connection is when a device such as a computer is connected to a network wirelessly using radio waves instead of cables to connect the router. A wired connection is always more stable since the device would be connected to a router, or switch physically.

Wired network refers to any physical medium consisting of cables. The cables can be copper wire, twisted pair or fiber optic.

Wireless network refers to medium made of electromagnetic waves (i.e. EM Waves) or infrared waves. All the wireless devices will have antenna or sensors

The difference between wired and wireless is quite evident (i wouldnt comment on that). The reliability mostly used to be the attributed of wired network, however under certain situations wireless networks are definilty more reliable.

So i would say "It depends on the situation and the evironments)

actually at this moment, lan speed is better from wireless. also secure from wireless. data transfer speed is high from wireless. if user move frequently one place to other then wireless is better from lan.

Wired networks uses cables like coaxial cable, twisted pairs, Fiber optics to connect devices, it is in high speed as compared to wireless and suitable more for desktop computers and printers, it limits our flexibility in work.

Wireless net work uses infrared, radio waves to connect devices through wireless routers, it is more suitable for laptops, mobiles and wireless printers. we can move around a certain limit of radius by using wireless network.

Wireless network provides flexiblity
