Nothing is impossible - though international jobs take time as prospective employers have to weigh a lot of things like work authorization, cost of sponsorship if you lack work authorization, relocation expenses etc.
So in case of international jobs you just have to keep trying and also leverage your network.
It's very difficult but not impossible. Take the position of a recruiter for a moment. Because you saw someone with a great CV, are you going to apply for his visa, book his flight, take care of him from the arrival to the departure just to interview him? I don't think So, only if the person applying for the IT position is Bill Gates.
Company prefers atleast candidates already in the country.
But, if you're lucky, you can find company doing online interviews for their candidates. So it's difficult but not impossible.
