Training manuals is an ongoing concern - how do you align your training department with your production department in order to improve plant training?

In the preparation of the training manual first we must find out what are the training needs of the production department. 

We have to find out what are the usual causes of non conformity with the government rules, company rules of the company as well as some of audit findings so we can incorporate in our training manuals. 

We must also have a research team to organize inorder to know exactly what are the production concerns with regards to the competition in the industry so we can have an inovative training scheme for development of new systems or even new products in the market. 

Aside from the discipline aspects also there is a need for a team building among the production department and this will enhance more productivity and good relationship among others. 

Supervisory techniques of all supervisors must be evaluated and must be incorporated in the training manual 

Team building is the active creation and maintenance of effective work groups with similar goals and objectives. Not to be confused with the informal, ad-hoc formation and use of teams in the workplace, team building is a formal and methodological process of building work teams with objectives and goals, facilitated by a third-party consultant. Team building is commonly initiated to combat ineffectual group functioning that negatively affects group dynamics, labor-management relations, quality, or productivity. By recognizing the problems and difficulties associated with the creation and development of work teams, team building provides a structured, guided process whose benefits include a greater ability to manage complex projects and processes, flexibility to respond to changing situations, and greater motivation among team members.   

As a Training Manager, I seek support from Production Manager to find out the additional need and with his consent, will seek feedback from the employees their expectation to upgrade the Training needs and manual

raining manuals will always be constantly updated by industrial and technological growth, and that is why it is a headache for industries, the best way to keep staff updated and trained is to train them step by step to adapt and be able to go improving with the times some problems of any kind in the industry.

As a Plant Supervisor, I will prepare the Training doucment individually for trainee, junior and senior level as per the requirments of training department. Also, Preparing each level of Job Task Standard to perform the job from the field as well as from console. Prepare On job training subjects(process,safety and health) and forward to the training department to improve the knowledge of the production team.
