I think Honesty is a basic key of success, if some one is honest with work, he/she can completely justified with their duties.
I would say it would be determination, self-confidence, and a bit of luck. Always be open minded, ready to learn and to share knowledge. There are surely a lot of others qualities one should have in order to be sucessful, it is just a matter of extracting the best virtues in you.
Keep learning and help others to learn. Gain knowledge and spread knowledge to win together.
