 If you are implementing an HRIS Customization, you can customize virtually anything by coding or let the developer do it. I believe you should consider customizable HRIS only if your company does things/ processes different than the norm and will continue to do so for a while.

As far as configurable HRIS, the developer/ vendor will advise what can be extended to the processes.
