Is planning required in each and every activity of an organization? what happens if there is no proper planning?

In the perspective of construction organisation, Planning is very crucial from the very beginning till completion of project. It's because construction involves huge capital as lots of resources are employed to complete even one activity. So, now if it is found that we did it wrong , sequence of activity was wrong, procedure was not correct, material used was not as per quality, or any other reason then it could cause an adverse effect on budget of project.

S-curve represents that changes at the earlier stage of project may cause lesser impact on cost as compared to changes at later stage and this adverse effect on cost of project can only be reduced by Planning.

Similarly in any other organisation Planning is significant to efficiently accomplish the targets.

Yes. Planning is definately important in every activity in an organisation. This is because every activity set has objectives that need to be met for it to be successful and for ythis to happen, a clearly mapped out plan onj how to meet each objective must be put in place. If planning is not done, this will be like shooting in the dark hoping for success which is a recipe for failure  as you have nothing you are working towards. There will be no success measure as well and zero accountability from those involved.

without proper plan, everthing will be loss of man power, timing, leadership, supply chain.

The planning is required and essential for each and every activity of an organization. The Planning will help the organizations to improve the efficiency and performance of their staff with increasing the production and percentage of the implementation in the ongoing projects.  In case there is no proper planning will cause the following for any organization :

1- No good investment in the new projects with shrinking most of the financial resources

2- Reducing percentage of the implementation in the projects and most of the objectives failure

3- No clear policy adopted to develop the work, performance and researches 

4- Targets and deliverables are not realized with the expenses volume growing
