Is there a limit to the number of consecutive days or the number of hours an exempt employee can work?

The maximum number of hours most employees can be required to work in a day is eight hours and maximum number of hours most employees can be required to work in a week is 48 hours. Daily working hours maximum can be exceeded by written agreement between the employee and employer.
