What are the important valves in pump installation?

The most common valves usesd on centrifugal pumps are Suction valne, Discharge valve, NRV, Vent and drain valve drain while PRV are installed on positive displacement pumps.

In centrifugal pump . One valve in suction line ( gate valve). Two valve in discharge line ( first NRV and gate valve).
