Why a relief valve is installed in the cold water supply line and not on the hot water line ?

reliefe valve helps to avoid the flow backof water from the heater

1st we install relief valve on supply side or cold water side to not make more pressure inside tank(not give more pressure then relief)

2nd if it stucked bladder will be damaged
