When primitive to challenge yourself?

If I feel I was a fool yesterday, then I challenged by myself of yesterday to become prudent today. We are constantly challenging ourself knowingly or unknowingly to be become better everyday and we are. In this competitive world, if we don't challenge ourself, someone else will challenge us.
