Brother, very difficult and almost impossible to get a job through internet unless you are dame lucky. If you got a good reference in any office then you can get a job, so these days its only the references that works and not any internet surfing. Internet is a very effective medium to reach out to prospective employers and HR consultants on local and global levels. The following simple steps can increase your success rate for job search :

1) Get your CV drafted by an expert so that it is short, effective and presentable.

2) Register in some of the popular Job Sites and upload your CV. Ensure that the registration is100% complete with contact details, references, videos, photos as incomplete postings may not be viewed by recruiters.

3) Keep updating your postings on  daily basis as most recently updated postings stand a better chance of being viewed by recruiters.

4) Go to the website of the large & reputed Companies and submit your resume to their HR Section. If you have friends employed with them, request them to recommend your application. Repeat the practice on monthly basis as online applications become ineffective if not follwed up over a period of time.

5) Simultaneously be in regular communication with your social contacts via emails, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Whatsapp etc and seek their recommendations to recruiters who are known to them.

Please note that Internet is only a medium but your chances of getting a job can be increased if the same is backed up by strong recommendation, contacts, and aggressive followups.
