Do you have any certain expectations from a publisher when you decide to work with them? Have you encountered any problems when publishing your book that you think publishers should know about?
You should communicate with your publisher on a regular basis; they do have constraints that you must understand, and you do have requirements that you should make clear. You probably will have to compromise, so set your priorities of what you realy need (rather than want) and try to see the big picture.
Of course, I would want to get my work see print.
