Education and knowledge are two sides of a  coin however knowledge cannot be  measured, education can be shown by degrees.

Education is trying to teach somebody something by following well known patterns.

Knowledge, however, is this person finding his own ways and patterns and implementing them into learning new things and gaining new experience to share.

Education can't cover all the knowledge but it gives you the right & logical way of thinking & put a strong base for you to begin your practice life , so in this way you can expand your knowledge by research & practice .

The difference between Education and Knowledge:  Education is the process of gaining knowledge through formal institutions while knowledge is a lifelong learning process. Education is curriculum based, but knowledge is what gained from worldly education, and experiences. Gaining knowledge is not limited to any particular age but education has a time period set. Education has nothing to do with life and its experiences whatsoever. The periphery of education is very limited but knowledge has no boundaries. It has no borderline.

Good afternoon Mr. Fazal and -again- many thanks for your stimulating questions.

Education is formal. Knowledge is substantial.

As shown along the evolutionary process, only 'our' brain gets the ability to freely turn elements from one level to the other. I would underline the importance of never losing this competence as a whole all along our life, being this the 'leading road' to Wisdom ....

There is not much difference between knowledge and education as both are correlated to each other. In fact one leads to another. The primary difference between the two is that education is formal process whereas knowledge is informal experience. Education is acquired through the formal institutions like school, colleges and universities, whereas knowledge is gained from the real life experiences. Hence education is a process of gaining knowledge for some useful application whereas knowledge is facts acquired from good education, peers, consultations and extensive reading.
