Intelligence is an in- built quality of a person to learn,understand & to use acquired knowledge.
A person can be born intelligent but cannot be born educated
It is really a good question to be considered. It is very important to know that the education is not enough to create a leader or an effective leader. The Effective leadership need other traits, mentality and mindset. I think that the effective leadership needs open-mind to understand other in various environments to build and take the right decision in a definite time.
Therefore, the intelligence is very important and essential with education to create the recognized leader in the diverse field and sectors. As known the education are some knowledge collected in the human mind due to the studying and not enough to create effective leader. Other characteristics have to be existed to create the effective leader in a certain field such as intelligence, strong personality, distinguished character, self-trust, vision, capability of predicting and high ability for the analysis.
Good education gives quality intelligence, socializing and leadership activities from a young age builds wuantity of intelligence. A balance of quality ad quantity is necessary for effective leadership. An increase in either results in bad leadership or fake diplomacy...

The difference between education and intelligence is that intelligence is internal, they are skills and abilities that we have naturally in varying degrees and education is given to us externally through teachers, books, parents and so on. Intelligence is the material that teachers use to educate and shape us and develop our natural intelligence.
