Inbound is when the client calls you, say you were calling allstate for an insurance quote. That's inbound as you will try to get them to purchase that insurance. There are2 types of outbound: cold calls and warm calls. Warm calls means the client has requested info from you and is expecting your call. Cold is when you call random people, maybe you get leads from a local dealership from people who just bought a car.

Outbound Sales is when you go out to find and bring clients, or cold calling in other words push sales. Inbound is when you try to bring the customers or leads to you, this is done by doing digital marketing, it si also called pull sales.
