Do you think that rank holders in school or university are successful in real life situations?

Are they able to handle practical situations sensibly - personally or professionally or do you think there are more failures than success? Please express your views clearly.

There cannot be a hard and fast rule to establish this relation between success in educational careers and in real life. It actually depends more on how the students acheive their success in their schools/ universities. If they worked hard to clear their concepts and not merely emphasysed on passing and securing good grades, chances are that they will succeed in practical life as well. On the other hand some average achievers in academics have been known to be vey successful in their practical life as their practical appreciation of the situations and tasks at hand was much superior than their academic performance.

I think that this is not always the case. They handles this issue in the west by enforcing that university processors work in the public sector as an integral part of thier career progression plans. I suggest that we try this technique.

An old Instructor of mine once said "If you can't do it, teach it", he might have said it jokingly but I have known many "teachers" who have been very successful in this role but have been notably less successful with their practical application to the relevant subject!!

Not always because there are a lot of people who are top of their class but fail when looking for a job, probably because they feel that they don't deserve that job or the salary that was being offered by the employer especially if they graduate with honors. But let's face it they usually have the best part of the pie or they have the priveledge to choose. :)

Not usually. Personally I wasn't really good in some subjects at school and uni. Sometimes I even asked dissertation writers to help me with some really difficult topics. And the what now? I have a small business and am really fond of economics, because I didn`t cram the information for the rank, but learn how to use this knowledge.

Hi im Erwin Malayo Mellijor from Philippines. I cannot say that they are all successful in their real life, because we are human who rely find time to seek which is best for us. We are not satisfied of what we had. that is why we look for the best in us even the best is always us. Satisfaction wise were not yet fully satisfied. Because it depends upon us, how we will handle the present situation if we fully satisfied then we were all successful in the real life situation.

I think awareness and decision making ability is the key to success it is not at all associated with academic achievement. Accept, adopt and appreciate play important role.
