My biggest challenge was when I have started to study the MBA while I was working full time job and have a family then topped by expecting my second child.

I had to wake up at05:00 am to be in my office @06:00 am I study till08:00 am then start my work normally. I have spent3 years with this life still till I have completed the master degree.

My biggest challenge in life is to be the best I can and take each day as a lesson to get there. That's what I believe as being the true meaning of being happy. This applies not only to my personal but also to my professional life, for one cannot be separated from the other as they both complete us. Now, about the second part of your question, we cannot plan a way to overcome the challenges life imposes on us, we just have to face them and overcome them the best way possible, not only having in mind our own expectations, but the expectations others have on us.

How could you guess Amal that currently I am juggling b/w personal and professional life :) well to both ends are increasing I need to handle multiple task simultaneously. In personal life I need to spent and offer more time at home as my mother is passing through health issues and I know her history since years so at hospital and for various test and to take time from specialist and taking her there is prime responsibility and on the other hand the work is demanding more time as we need to fill position in-time for which I need to advertise, screen and interview candidates and then proceed their joining and this too require long hours.

To handle this situation I plan thing at least2-3 days in advance esp. the interview part, well system based working I do in late hours easily. I am too planning to do certification HR either CIPD or SHRM certification and this required handsome investment and preparation timing which is another issue and as I am committed to enhance professional certification then I keep on reviewing literature and listening various outlook and podcast series to enhance my knowledge Saturday and Sundays are ideal days for such reading habits.

I have been active on bayt.com and now being Moderator I need to regularly achieve my weekly targets and for this again I do after office working i.e. late night Q&A work and other than that few local groups at another professional site and I feel motivated and feel good to share my experience with those who need it or could be good for them as I consider it my responsibility.

To manage all these and various family and official matters, I never sit idle, keep on prioritizing tasks, keep asking myself to invest time in right direction and Almighty Allah guides me and without family support I won’t be able to do a single task. The tag line for me is, “When we are committed to ourselves then miracle happens…”

My greatest challenge was to achieve the success in my career and remain honest in my works and thinking. I am really one of the lucky guys in getting the success through my hard work and sincerity. Still, I am also following the same principle in my second career.
