Should Revenue Generating Teams (Sales, Business Development, IT Software Proffs,etc) be entitled to Flexible Working Hours? What about Support teams?

If an employee is working perpetually after office hours then office hours should be flexible for him. Department does matter (supporting or sales, IT or marketing)

some times we need fexible working hours.

I believe that every employee working hours should match the working hours of his/her customer. My working hours are my customers' working hours.

These team are required to be flexible as much as possible to meet the business needs.  Consequently the organisation should be flexible with them as much as possible.  How you can request an employee to report very early to the office while he was working till evening last day?

The support team don't need flexible timing they are expected to be available on the standard working hours for operational need. Yet for not having double standards there can be flexible time yet limited options like to report from8:00 am or09:00 am and to be approved from line manager. 

Flexible working hours is one of the motivating factors for the employees of present day's generation. If the revenue generating teams are having flexible working hours, in that, the support teams should also have the equal / same facility. Because, without the team works or the harmonization of main stream and support stream a perfect completion of any assignment / work is totally IMPOSSIBLE.

Team work, Planning on a participatory basis and Flexible Working Hours for speacial teams in addition to continuous learning and development are creative management tools to enrich working environment of  Engineering Consultations Bodies and ensure success.

There is no reason why revenue generating teams or support teams should be excluded from flexible working hours. In fact, flexible working hours can benefit all teams, regardless of their function.

It depends on what the company is providing to the customer, if it's required to work 24 hours, then it should be, if not, then we can organize 2 flexible shifts to the employees.

Revenue generating teams can have different work timings like late starting hours and late finishing hours or early starting hours and early finishing hours. They should complete their working hours and also achieve the desired results.

in my organization the support teams work for24/7, on the contrary revenue generating teams working for fixed working hours.
