Do looks and style matter in an interview?

Ofcourese one's dress and suitable style is important as it will be make one comfortable to face the interview. However, to succeed in an interview he should have the potential and experience for the job concerned.

Definitely i will because if you have been asked to hire someone who doesn’t have enough experience to suit the position but has a good outlook, ofcourse you will not accept that ..

Let me rephrase your question, do you someone who possess required KSA but not very smart in looks so do you ignore that applicant? definitely no. We don't make decisions based on outlook or dressing but yes one should prepare well for the interviews. We are not hiring for Hollywood or movie so the focus is on competencies.
