Is the question which favours the saler EG will you pay cash or through account?

In my sale training , the coach told us: if you want to sell something, do not ask questions that can be answered just with yes or no. You must investigate what is your costumer desire. You must know him/her. Do not ask if they like the store (or whatever) , because they can just say yes or no...ask them what they think is most interesting in the store ( or whatever) . This way they can tell You your thoughts and you can find exactly what they are looking for... talk to them friendly but trying to get more information you can . This way you can delivery their desires and still get them for future business.

Unlike the "coled-ended" question, you can not answer with a simple yes or no to and open-ended question it needs a more deeper answer than that and it gives a lot more informations.

it is the indirect way that every seller should use to get an overall idea about the client or the campany situtation and with that he will know exactly his client needs and what is important for him.
