Thanks for invitation,

It depends on the work environment in general and specially on the direct relationship between me and my boss, but it is not fault to give him an idea, that you are looking for new challenges even any other organization.

Once you have option then you have to tell your boss for sure. However in process of searching this is not necessary that you tell your boss, Alos some times it depends upon situation and environment you are working in

Totally depends on the work envoirment and the person's personality trait ,if you are Hygiene seeker then avoid letting your boss know about it on the other hand if you are "fire in the belly"type then its the sensible thing to do.

Moreover in organisations where work nature is time critical one should avoid expressing the desire for resigning.

This is case to case bases, if you have terrible bosses, For me i say, you should not let your boss know that you are thinking about resigning, because thats when they will starts to mistreated you, they will start to annoyed about you. Hates starts to circulate around.

but on the other hand, some bosses will ask whats the reason of resigning and if salary is main matter he will tried to solve it one way or another specillay if your bosses really want you to stay in the company.
