Hi all,

 

I would like to thank everyone assisted in adding a value to this question, which is handling the process of our search for jobs correlated to the "DATA ENTRY" work. Actually, my purpose from this question is build a good guideline for those who are concerned or put their plans to work in this career, and I've got surprised with wide range of answers which definitely support our search for suitable jobs in this rank.

-                     Data Entry professionals play an important role in organizations by ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of large amounts of information and data.

-                     Most Data Entry jobs include entering data into a computer system or into some type of secured file system and may include other types of clerical activities.

-                     It is a general requirement that Data Entry workers be able to read and type.

 

-                     Data Entry jobs are very telecommuting friendly as they can be done remotely from a home computer.

-                     Data Entry can be found under several titles like:

n    Information Manager,

n    Word Processor,

n    Data Processor

n    Data Entry Keyer (entering data by typing on a keyboard  like Computers)

n    Electronic Data Processor or Automated Data Entry Processor(to Format incoming electronic data files for processing, assist customers, troubleshoot issues and assist with development of processes).

n    Typist (to be responsible for typing activities including reviewing documents and entering information into a database).

n    Clerk, Candidate, Assistant or Associate (to input customer data, research customer accounts, and process mail; prepare data for computer entry; collect and input database information; scan documents and update vendor information; and enter data while following data program techniques & procedures. Microsoft Office, customer service, computer skills, clerical role experience and communication skills with the ability to type40 WPM and more are required for this role).

n    Database Technician / Database Manager /Database Specialist / Program Assistant or Database Marketing Coordinator (who is responsible for assisting with database, building reports, and marketing efforts to communicate in an effective manner with prospective customers)
