A professional and high quality customer care representative has to have a positive attitude towards all customers and the patience needed to turn an angry customer into a brand evangelist so I do agree that the customer care should aim to provide quality and in order for that you need to develop your team and train to offer quality service

good organizations always perform special training sessions for their customer service employees, to add more quality in their public dealing.
regarding the above question my answer is yes.
As a person who has a nice character and attitude could deal a customer more efficiently.
here is just a small personal experiance: i called a customer service representative of a Bank.
during conversation, i felt that he was answering my every question with a smile(i can't see him but can feel it).
Though his employer(BANK) service rating was one star, but he managed to solve my problem efficiently, with an apalogatic note at the end of our conversation.
which compelled me to give the guy five star rating :)
