Time frame for negocition session is a negoctation tool, you have to manage it very carefuly. So it depends on how the negoctiation is going, some time times you need a break to gather your thoughts and force, some times you don't let the counterpart to breath if you are closing a deal and some times you have to be wise and let both parties take a braek

That will depend totally on the type of negotiations. Yes, there are types of negotiations. There is definitely a time frame but what that time frame is depends on both the internal and external factors of the deal/merger/acquistion etc. taking place. This is a very general question and can be answered in pages and pages of text. Know what you are selling, know what you are buying, make sure it is worth its price, and always put an arbitration and jurisdictional clause into the contract.
