Haha its really a great question, Basically self driving cars are not too much available in the market so special insurance products are also unavailabe for them but as its a machine, anything can be happen so insurance is better
In my opinion and in accordance with introduction of these sophisticated technology , the insurer and reinsurer may develop and create a new motor insurance coverage and policy to be carried and taken by cars owners and the technology industry's side whom involved in this new process of motor vehicles running and usages.
