The claim procedures regarding total loss takes in consideration the insurance policy terms and conditions which mostly state that  the compensation is subject to a deductions such as depreciation percent due to the usage of the car and also the policy excess or deductibles which determined as percentage or sum of money at the insurance policy inception to be deducted from each and every claim.

Therefor in the case of total loss the deductions from the amount of claim% , are as follows :-

A) The policy excess.( deducible )

B) Depreciation due to car usage .

My very best wishes.

Thanks.
