A ‘Brainstorming’ Question indeed! Bundle of thanks my dear!

I would like to say that it’s simply due to the “IQ Level” which differs from person to person. It’s difficult to explain, but let me try to break it down in a way that clarifies my viewpoint.

You can safely say that all babies are born with the exact same level of intelligence. None of them can speak, control their movements, have any idea of anything, etc.

Right you are, but, there are unseen differences between babies that will lead certain individuals to be more or less intelligent than average. There are MANY biological traits that confer to one's intelligence, let's pick a common, easy one: 'brain plasticity'.

PLASTICITY is the brain's ability to create (and destroy) connections between Neurons. Our genetics determine how plastic our brains are (like it or not). A person born with better plasticity than another person, is highly likely to be more intelligent. Now, many would argue that with practice, one can improve their own brain's plasticity. I agree, this is possible, but, how much one's plasticity can be improved upon, depends, once again, on your genetics.2 hrs of "plastic training" may increase one person's plasticity by FIFTY% but only TEN% in another person.

Now, having said that, let's talk about Nurture/Training. We all like to believe that a nurturing environment is ultimately what determines a person's intelligence. This is partially true. A nurturing environment is only going to push a person to their genetic limit. Harsh, I know, but hear me out. If you take a person who has a Low IQ, no matter how much nurturing you provide, that individual will never reach Genius level. In fact, if you take an average IQ person and provide a nurturing environment, they still Won't reach Genius level. They will improve, Yes, but Genius? They will NEVER become. (True geniuses are rare occurrences and often times, the differences (if any) in their brains are not obvious.) On the flip side of that coin, there are those whose biological traits destine them to be intelligent. For example, a boy who goes to a bad school system and isn't nurtured at home, but who possesses a high IQ level, definitely displays intelligence that rivals the greatest minds that have walked the earth.

The simple answer to this question is genetics and environment. Every human is born with intrinsic intellectual ability that governs their ability to learn, their curiosity and aptitude for specific subjects, and emotional intelligence that governs the actions a person will take to turn raw ability into productive capacity. From my experience almost all humans can succeed in one intellectual pursuit or another based on their raw ability and defermination, but only a small percentage of people have a proclivity for fields like engineering and computer science that require knowledge and innate creative ability.

They apply themselves to memorization of facts and general knowledge. More intelligent people have a greater lexicon. They can analysis, compare, and compute better.

They are also able to strategically make the best choices that are in their interests.

Intelligence is a matter of memorization and application.

Inquiry itself is a matter of doubt and formulated by grammatical nuances that aren't well understand by the person posing the questions.

This isn't a great explanation, but this is all I know to be the cause of one's level of intelligence.

As always many great answers here and the overriding theme is there are many different intelligence's that are suitable for different roles in the world and some people are better at some things than others. Pretty simple and we can see it all around us in our own work and social lives.

In regards to inborn abilities there is a lot of research indicating that the formation of our mature brain is part genetics part environment but this formation stops around the age of 14, and this becomes the thinking and processing pattern for most of life barring a serious injury, working on a dedicated skill or massive concentration on certain brain training which can shape certain parts of the brain

Agree with experts answers especially from Farhana and others.

Intelligence differs from person to person as it is in the gene. A person may develop high intelligence other than gene from family back ground, health, supporting family memebers, education, environment, exposure to advanced thinking and skills. Moreover, each and every one is intelligent and skiiled in one or the other field. For example one may be a very intelligent player but he may be very poor in scoring mark in schools, one may be very intelligent in schools and scoring high marks but may not speak or act intelligently. like in football one may be very intelligent in putting the ball in the goal post as a player but may be very dull as a student.  God has given each one his/her own talent and he is intelligent and skilled in that field. But some are blessed with intelligence and multy talents. We have celebrities and tycoons they were very poor in studeis but they never failed in their field and excelled all others. So do not blame a dull student he may overtake others and more known than other intelligent students in the future  in some other field.
