Media plays an important and major role in observational learning, usually if we research this type of behavior founds% in females because females spend a lot of time in front of TV watching their favorite serials and soaps, rest% are men. (Why female rating is higher than men because females are more sensitive and emotionally weaker than men.).  It means Media is playing vital role in creating, developing and changing people minds, thinking, mentality and their perceptions about things, matters, relations and the way of dealing and behaving in different situations and consequences.

Example from my very recent personal experience: I told my girlfriend that today I am going for a meeting she confirms me that if really I am going to a meeting or going for a date. I ensured her that no female works in the office where I am going for a meeting.  At that time I really wasn’t had plans to go anywhere else other than the meeting she wished me best of luck. Unfortunately during meeting I received a call from some TV channel for another meeting. I had to be there right after my first meeting so got almost no time to tell my girlfriend that I will be back after second meeting. While sitting in a TV channel during a meeting she called me I picked up the call during the meeting was going on I just said nothing as she heard a voice of female in background and dropped the call. That the moment I realized I just got dumped by her. She broken up with me on just one point which she picked up as evidence that she heard of a female voice.

So, from above real life example: It could be happen when people have emotional attachment and hopes and trust attached with the particular matter, situation or a person.

Other than Media many other reasons influences on why people react that way. Media is just a small reason but can’t ignore it as well.

We Human gives prompt response whatever we receive from our environment. It’s a Human Psychology that people tends to believe whatever they have seen or hear is a truth without seeing, listen or evident the reality.

Crux of whole thing is hidden in the Culture Theory of Prejudice: (it also called a Cultural Transmission Theory)

This behavior can be seen in any aspect of life includes Relations, Friends, Office, Business, Social and every person behaves different on different situations according to the cultural norms and rules and are a part of Prejudice.

Self-Perception, Pre-judgmental, Doubts, Disbeliefs, Lack of Trust jealousy all part of the culture and behavioral studies of Prejudice.

In professional organizations during interviews interviewers also come under the categories of such people who sometimes do not hire the right potential because of their self-perception about the candidate that He/she is not able to do a job while giving an invalid and inappropriate excuses such as over-qualified, under qualified, No-Experience etc…
