For me personally , I think that the best and cheapest fast way to generate sales leads for any company , or to find new customers, is using  social media advertising which is more exciting and highly utilized than traditional advertising methods .However experts have contradicted view which shows that social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest   aren't very effective at generating quality sales leads. Meanwhile, some of the more effective methods, an industrial products trading company might plan for include executive events, webinars, search marketing and telemarketing...etc While trade shows and webinars work well for certain organizations, many businesses swear by LinkedIn and Facebook Neverthless I believe that definately , when it comes to lead generation, one method does not fit all.

For industrial product trading companies you can invest in sponsored events such as focus group discussions. You can also sponsor events with your end users. For example a financial or procurement compliance seminar where you invite financial or procurement managers of your end users. This will give you opportunity to meet one on one with your clients.

Sir the list mentioned above are the media tools. So essentially you are advertising. However it is the message / content that makes the difference in terms of efficiency and efficacy. If by advertising you mean a media campaign, then in that case if the products your company offers are too technical then don't go for it.
