Is it better to start your own business or work at a well known company?

With the current economic situation, salaries are lower than they used to be while the cost of living remains relatively high. A lot of people are starting their own businesses because they believe that the income for their business will be better than working a full-time job at a well known company.

What do you think is the correct choice in this day and age?

I would love to work in my own business It's my goal,

But in my opinion work in leader companies it's the first step, as much as you can learn from this kind of company as much you can succeed in your own business.

Entrepreneurs of largest brands were college drop outs, so they never worked for a large brand, they started their own. But this requires dedication and hands-on attitude.

So it depends on your mindset. Getting experience from large brand is also essential and it's totally ok to start your business after gaining enough experience.

Better to work for a well known company if you didn't develop a product

Merging the two ideas is very magnificent, but the challenge here is how to gain knowledge of your job, and make use of them in your private business. also to be more successful you can assign a leader who acts instead of you.

If you are wealth enough and experienced in the knowledge of the business can proceed for a business. If you don't want to commit yourself you can go for a job which gives a bright future for a career.

Depends on your current situation, if you are a fresher with no brilliant concept, product or service that would explode in the market, then my recommendation is secure an opportunity within a large corporate within a segment that draws your passion, and emerge yourself at an accellerated speed so you gain as much hands-on experience and exposure of the industry.

Those who who know they are different and want to 'live themselves out' persuing a business concept that will ignite their passions, purpose and ensure they love what they are doing every single day without it feeling like 'work', must aggressively persue this path. When you focus on your vision and not just the money, then it will come and that is the core secret of success and wealth.

If you assume securing an employment opportunity is secure then you are mislead as nothing is secure, not even working at a large organization because anyone can pull the mat out from under you. The key is setting your own goals and expectations and then exceeding them, having a plan, following it, emerging yourself into something that you love and if you are creative and innovative, then there's nothing like it!

Success is afforded to those who are willing to put in the time and the quote that goes 'If you want something that you have never had before, then you have got to do something you have never done before...', is true.

Following your vision and dream ensuring you remain authentic about rendering an absolutely awesome service, giving more than you receive and not expecting anything back from anyone, dropping the entitlement and assuming you are owed a life because of reasons you have justified to yourself, is totally out of context and will not ensure your success.

Remember, you can achieve success that you desire within a corporate or as an entrepreneur, but it's your call, you know what you feel inside, your dreams, expectations, wants and needs so your only job is to follow that call and forget about everything else around you.Creation with this mindset will blow you away when you look back one day to review just where you have been, what you have achieved and be amazed at where you are standing at that point!

I know, I'm at that end point, so I would never have imagined I would be who I am to myself right now, today, this moment, and be blown away with 'how did I find the time to do all those things? How did I get here?' Time is a clock you must not watch, just go out there and kill it from your heart!

Hi Ola

In answer to your question is it better to start your own business or work at a well-known company? Will depend on your personal ambitions. Being self-employed takes commitment, dedication, drive, and self-belief. You are your own boss so all decisions and results are the outcome of your work. The benefits of work life balance, flexibility of time and location to name a few may outweigh a more rigid structure.

Working for an existing business has its benefits of paid leave, a guaranteed income on the basis of being a competent employee, and so forth. Ultimately you have to be happy in what you do. Money is not everything
