What is the difference between these two- LEADER & BOSS?

The Boss does the followings:

1. Demands

2. Relies on authority

3. Says I 

4. Uses people

5. Takes credit

6. Places blame

7. My was is the only way

While the leader does the followings:

1. Coaches

2. Relies on goodwill

3. Says we

4. Develops people

5. Gives credit

6. Accepts blame

7. Strength in unity

A Leader produces Leaders, a boss produces subordinates,; Leader is a motivator, Boss is a de-motivator many times which result in employee confidence compromises. Managers who are leaders are far ahead in being productive member for the company then a boss

Boss is some one guides the subordinates to perform his work strategy without fully satisfactions from other about that to reach his target. The leader is some one convinces first his subordinates and other about his strategy and great goals before assume it and make other to adopt this strategy without press as their targets and ambitions.

The boss is one who uses people while the leader is one who develops people and take a steps back and bring out the best in the team.

There is a huge difference between boss and leader.

A boss is someone who will want to derive work out of you. He will use maximum of your efficiency of yours to get the job done.

Whereas leaders are people who motivates other, Great leaders have lot of followers. They guide people to success. A great leader will always try to pass on the knowledge to his followers.
