Yes. It is vital to know the local as well as permanent residential address of the newly recruited employee. One should know their employees in detail so that In case of any emergency, HR department will have details to contact the employee or relatives.

 

Moreover, while employing someone, company should have full details of the person which can help in reference checking etc.
