Arguments about scope are very common when the project gets under pressure, positive thinking turns into cutting corners to meet a budget or deadline.

Another classic is the 'you should have involved us earlier' discussion, often it's true that more people should have been involved at early stages, sometimes it's purely a hindsight bias.
