Never give up an opportunity you get to present on stage even though you fear, you are not going to lose anything initially for not delivering things properly on stage because of fear, but surely over the period you will gain confidence and will be out from fear.
Usually Fear is due to lack of confidence and due to the feeling the person might have that audience will judge him/her. One way , the person should convince himself that he is delivering to people who need his feedback on a subject and the he is not in court to be judged. May be not true but feeling that you are delivering something to people lower than you in that subject will make you feel better and then you can deliver better...
