It is advisable to correct the child immediately when a student speaks a wrong word or grammar. It is the duty of every English teacher to do so in order that the student will be in focus of their learned English language. There is no harm if you correct them at the moment as they will be aware of what is the correct word or form of their mistakes.
Students will keep making mistakes every day, whether while they are speaking or practicing another skill. The instructor should follow-up his/ her students well, and try to correct any mistakes that might occur. Making mistakes will never stop; we should not expect that otherwise!
