I have come across lots of mission statements and I feel majority of them are just to impress and sound too jargoned
A mission statement should be honest and relevant to the stakeholders of the company (by stakeholders I mean everyone who is in touch with the company). It is a tactic by which the vision is achieved. Mission statements should change periodically (Missions should be accomplished if they don't change that means they were never achievable or they are irrelevant)
