In academic writing and in any other genres, I first gather the facts and make notes of them. And then when I'm ready to write, I refer to those notes. Right now, I'm writing blogs about different places in New Zealand. What I did earlier was gather the most salient points about a certain place, took down notes of its uniqueness, so it becomes easier for me to compose my ideas.
I always prepare myself to write for any genre of writing. Making notes for writing always helps!
I write directly ,when i chose subject and complete it in one time .But sometimes i correct it ofter write it .
I start writing directly when I feel like writing, I don't usually take notes
I start writing directly after giving an issue sometime to ripen in my mind, then adjustment may came later
