How would you change the working environment to where individuals can balance between work, family and recreation?

This is a general question relating to anyone who works a full-time job. Life has become 'instant'. Demand is high, but resources don't always meet demand. In some countries the victims of fatal heart attacks are now in their20s due to stress. Has modern-day society's priorities become mixed up in that "money, status and material things have more value than loved ones and people".

By changing the work attitude and strategy from fixed hours daily to daily target ,weekly or monthly ...
and supervising the achievements and guiding your employees for what they need to achieve their targets not what do you want them to do , crating more space for creativity and innovation even in simple jobs that "appear' that it doesn't need a lot of thinking.
you will enjoy the results and they will enjoy the work !

introduce a fully flexible working time policy.
We live in an era where work, family & recreation all overlap each other from time to time and a good company/manager should understand this and be flexible enough to cope.
Its a different story when the company is asking you to be flexible! these things work both ways

Many of us are always under pressure, have challenging deadlines, and have lots of responsibilities, which leaves options to stay at work or carry work back home to meet targets and deadlines, which makes us even more stressed.
Most of us think that if we are able to finish our work, then we have good time management, but, are we really? we spend our most productive times in meetings, reading mails, while we needed to work in that time.
Answer is, determine your most productive time, get your hardest tasks there, keep the meetings and e-mails till the less productive time.
When we are at home or vacation, we are always tempted to see our e-mails, and get more work done, it has been proven that people who work more than60 hours / week are less productive than those working40 hours, because they're stressed, and don't have enough time for their brain to relax.
Family and friends are very important, you need to consider them in your life, and they are capable to relief you from your work issues and problems, and everyone needs that.
Dedicate2-3 hours to be with friends or family, book them on your calendar, and see how things will change.

Put greed, competitive mind set and pride aside.
Live life with passion.
And with passion, you begin to see things clearly.
And clarity brings willingness to explore better possibilities.
What better possibilities could there be without enjoying life? What's life without family?

It is true that life has become much faster, more demanding and less forgiving, but to get a balance between work, family and recreation is very important. As a Management team, it is important to keep in mind that you ultemately work with human beings and not machines. Do not set the objectives too high or unoptainable. Keep encouraging your staff by telling them when they have done well or help them if they need it. Foster good behaviour by example in leading the team and not only talking. In other words, lead the team by example. Listen to your team and pay attention to their grieviences and complains and try and help where you can. Show your staff that you care and they will also be more caring.

When an  expatriates moves, the spouse may find it difficult to find a comparable job at the new location. Often there are no available jobs, a situation aggravated by the obstacles of visa regulation, Professional licensing rules, and language barriers.

Even if a job is available locally, it may not contribute to a meaningful career, reducing the likelihood that the couple will be willing to move

Proper training, coordination among different departments/individuals and motivation to avoid procrastination can help in completing daily tasks on time and hence individuals can balance their work family life easily.

In most of the cases, daily tasks are not finished on time due to loss of time in doing same work without knowing shortcuts.
