False: Talent Management's main purpose is to create synergy in order to achieve organizational goals. No organization hires a candidate to develop and retains him for whatever performance. Its essence lies in optimizing talent vis-a-vis performance while aligning him with company's goals. Attracting, developing and retaining are NOT the purpose but part of process or outcome in such course of managing talent.
