The main responsibility of the receptionist are the guests and they are obliged to do things to satisfy the needs of the customers. I will call the doctor to check on her/him.

I agree with the answers above. giving medicine from firstaid kit is not a good option. coz  we dont know about patients medical history,i vill call the hotel's doctor to his/her room ,he vill prescribe medicines . This way guests will also feel satisfied. After sometime i will call and ask about their health and ask them if they need anything.

General rule - never prescribe and/or hand out your guest with pills such as aspirin or paracetamol, even the ones from over the counter and/or first aid kit.

One would never know a guest medical history/background to allergies or side effects.Stay safe and do the right thing by assisting/direct your guest to a Doctor and/or the nearest clinic.

There is always a firstadd kit of medicins at the reception. I will send a waiter to take him a glass of water and a headache medicine. After10 minutes I will call in the guest's room to check if the headache is over. If is not, I will definetly call the doctor.

First of all I will contact our hotels private Doctor and as per his prescription I will provide the medicine to the guest, and if it is seriuos I will call the doctor.

if customer is having just normal headache not related to blood pressures then i would give panadol to her/him for headache and if she/he is allergic to IBUPROFEN in panadol then i will call doctor and will ask another medicine for headaches without any IBUPROFEN in it, and if this headache is related to blood pressures then i would like Hotel Doctor to come and check the customer, and if symptomes presist after doctor check up then i would ask the customer to go to nearest hospital or call ambulance.
