How helpful is Google Translate when translating a piece of text?

Google translate is very good especially for simple sentences. But if you need to translate documents, then I would not trust Google translator here. More better professional experts from https://www.translate.com/english-portuguese They will double-check and edit the machine translation manually. This minimizes the number of errors or inaccuracies in important papers where errors are simply unacceptable.

One of my favourites in terms of translating one word only.

However, if you give it full paragraph, then you need to personally go through it sentence by sentence for editing/correcting mistakes.

Only useful to translate the basics, you have to go trough it word by word and then see if the sentence in the language is correct, my experience , not to usefull

Google translator is not good in translating paragraphs, yet it's good in translating words, just words.
