As a professional translator, which file types do you usually prefer working with?

First is Word file, then comes Pdf

i prefer Microsoft Word files and pdf files

I have the ability to translate at all fields and areas relating to Translation Arts ; but I prefered to translate at the area of Legal and Economy

cultural, artistic or tourism

i don't translate files, but word (languages)

so I don't basically have preference but enthusiasm

i have a preference for stories as novels and children books 

I like to translate technical files ...for me it is a challenge to do it perfectly!!!

I think you mean the kind of file, I prefer commercial, legal, technical ... and all type of files it's ok

I do not have preferences. I can work with any file easily.

Dear Leen, I prefer working with files where I can alter the text such as word, power point, certain adobe files, etc. In other words, the files that can be used in CAT Tools.  I hope this helps.
