Weight Bridge Operator

We are looking for a skilled Weight Bridge Operator to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Weight Bridge Operator, you will be responsible for accurately recording the weight of goods and vehicles passing through our weight bridge facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all weight measurements are correct and comply with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating weight bridge equipment and possess strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain weight bridge equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Accurately record and document the weight of goods and vehicles passing through the weight bridge.
3. Ensure that weight measurements comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
4. Communicate with drivers and other personnel to ensure smooth operation of the weight bridge facility.
5. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on weight bridge equipment to ensure proper functioning.
6. Generate and maintain accurate reports and records of weight measurements.
7. Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to weight measurements.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating weight bridge equipment.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Prior experience operating weight bridge equipment or similar machinery.
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in weight measurements.
3. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with drivers and other personnel.
4. Basic computer skills for recording and generating reports.
5. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
6. Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends, if required.
