Have a One-One with a trainer and shadow/buddy folks from the different teams in the right order. In the end, try and write a summary to check if you have understood the culture/ workflow correctly. Shadow again, this time a different person. This procedure can take a minimum of one working day to a max of3 days. Do try it. You understand well when you watch people do it and later get yourself to do it.

Interesting question Sanjeev, as I love to learn the technical side of the business and for this I need to learn their procedures which helps me to understand the in-out of operations. I would suggest to go for the following;

1 – Being in corporate sector, ask for the procedure and develop the flow of the work from input to final output of the service or product.

2 –Do ask the concern department employees to brief you any unclear step.

3 –I did sitting with the allied department individual to tell me how they (the other section) are working so here I compare the documented and actual practice.

4- Do ask about the various formats and reports which helps you to have understanding of the procedure.

Last, do regular sit with workers and technical employees their working styles could boost your technical knowledge and helps you to communicate well! This is practical tips which I did and do and keeps doing!
