What actions you usually take to encourage creative thinking and a proactive mindset in your people?

As a team leader or manager, you will have to inculculate an optimistic and creative environment for your team. I bring about the same by having

1) Group Discussions - This is a mandatory requirement to ideate and have a healthy discussion by playing out the various scenarios that might come up in the future

2) Listening to your team members completely before jumping to a conclusion

3) Making your team members reason with you to promote their ideas

4) Having periodic reviews and one on ones in addition to the group discussions

5) Appreciating and acknowledging good ideas and putting down bad ideas in a constructive manner that does not prevent your team members from willing to contribute or attempt to try again.
