In my point of view, the HR practitioners must exercise the following in order to attain and retain talent in their organizations:- - Devise Job Descriptions which can identify competencies required for the job so the position holder has a clear view wht is required by him - Develop extensive orientation program and ongoing training and development opportunities that reflect both the employee's and the organization's needs.
- Provide on-going coaching, mentoring, and feedback - Design effective compensation and recognition systems because employers of choice aim to pay above market for talented employees.
- Provide promotional and career development opportunities - Hold exit interviews to understand why a valued employee decided to leave the organization.
Above all, the company should promote such a culture that eliminates discriminatory management practices
