Bad office politics directly effects the productivity ! Do you agree ?

Yes it does. Office politics can take a toll on the managers which can effect their teams and influence their productivity which inturn wil affect the productivity of the company. 

I do agree that bad office politics effects the productivity but it depends upto you as well how you keep youself away from it.

What I strongly believe is the root cause of such dirty politics are those people who are always surrounded by a sense of insecurity as somewhere they lack the potential of being in that position. They are always in very protective zone of their Godfather in that organization; and they indulge in adding spices, aroma and lot of flavours to the real information and cascades the altered one the others.

Office Politics is also referred to as Internal Politics.

When an employee performs his duties in a proper sincere manner, there will be other colleagues who group together to damage his reputation within the Organization. Ultimately, this does affect the productivity and smooth work progress in the Organization. This comment is made without prejudice to any individual or Organization.

It has direct effect in the overall output and productivity of the company. So as much as possible office politics and unacceptable work ethics must be eliminated and address by the management and all the stakeholders. Work place should have a healthy, enjoyable and yielding for everyone.

100% true and we all should do effort so that bad politics can not work by any cost.

Yes. Playing office politics is bad for your health. People should not stay too long in an environment that isn't healty for them. There's evidence to show that people working in an unhealthy office environment can suffer stress which can lead to physical and mental health issues.
