Yes it does. Office politics can take a toll on the managers which can effect their teams and influence their productivity which inturn wil affect the productivity of the company.

What I strongly believe is the root cause of such dirty politics are those people who are always surrounded by a sense of insecurity as somewhere they lack the potential of being in that position. They are always in very protective zone of their Godfather in that organization; and they indulge in adding spices, aroma and lot of flavours to the real information and cascades the altered one the others.
